How does Wartner work?

Wartner starts working immediately by rapidly freezing the core of the wart or verruca. A blister is formed under the treated area and over the next ten days, the wart or verruca will gradually disappear or fall off.

Will using Wartner hurt?

Freezing the skin may lead to a slight aching, stinging sensation that may cause some discomfort. This will subside quickly leaving a small blister.

Is Wartner safe to use?

Yes, Wartner is safe to use if the instructions are followed carefully, however we do not advise on children under that age of 4.

No, if there are multiple warts or verrucas in the same area, treat only one wart at a time. Treat each remaining wart or verruca separately with a two-week interval between treatments.

I've tried Wartner once, but nothing's happened - what do I do next?

For old or persistent warts or verrucas two or three applications may be required. To help with treatment, remove the top layer of skin with a pumice stone or emery board; this will expose the core of the wart or verruca. Treat each wart or verruca with a 2 week interval. Consult your doctor if three treatments have not resulted in an improvement.

Can successfully treated warts or verrucas return?

Usually, a successfully treated wart or verruca will result in the wart or verruca being permanently removed. The body's immune system will normally purge any remaining traces of the wart or verruca.

When should I not use Wartner?

- If you are diabetic.

- If you are pregnant.

- People with poor circulation should consult their doctor or chiropodist before using the product.

- If the wart or verruca is located in a sensitive area with thin skin (e.g. the face, neck, armpits, chin, breast,) or on genital warts.

- If the nearby or affected skin is inflamed.

- If you are not certain that the skin condition you are treating is wart or verruca.

- Do not use on children under the age of 4.

Follow up treatment

- Consult your doctor if the aching, stinging sensation persists or if another complication occurs.

- Keep the treated area clean.

- Swimming and showering are permitted.

- Do not pick at or scratch the treated area.

- Protect blisters, if necessary with a plaster; do not puncture blisters.

Cautions

- Wartner contains flammable components: Keep out of direct sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50^oC.

- Do not apply Wartner whilst smoking or close to naked flames.

- If there are multiple warts or verrucas on a finger or toe, treat only one at a time treat each remaining wart or verruca separately with a two-week interval between treatments.

- Wartner should never be used on areas of thin skin (e.g. face, neck, armpits, breasts, bottom) or on genital warts.

- Use Wartner only in combination with the special foam applicators.

- Use one foam applicator for each wart or verruca and use each foam applicator only once.
