Class 1 Flight Sock (14-17mm mercury compression)
These black cotton socks are in a thicker fabric to the Sheer flight socks below and are intended for men
If you are suffering from, or have a previous history of, blood clots, a blood clotting disorder, heart or circulatory problems (e.g. arterial or venous insufficiency), diabetes, severe varicose veins, cancer, reduced mobility or if you have recently undergone major surgery or are pregnant, you should consult a healthcare professional about the suitability of this product.
NB. Unlike the original flight sock above you MUST take the additional foot length and calf circumference to ensure correct fitting. The shoe size guide is, as the name implies, only a guide!
Three measurements are needed to ensure correct fitting:
1. Around the fullest part of the calf (B)
2. Around the ankle, just above the ankle bone (C)
3. The length of the foot (D)
Scholl recommends you measure your calf and ankle at the points indicated to ensure correct fitting. If the product feels loose, restrictive, or if you experience pain or discomfort whilst wearing, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional for guidance. Scholl recommend you should ideally have one measurement under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
